Ali was found as a stray and turned into a rural shelter. Ali would be best fit for someone with patience and a lap for her to sit in. She is protective and has bitten. She needs an experienced hand.

Ali's nickname is the  Ali-gator. Once she knows you, can be very sweet and playful. She can be a little nervous and protective around new people and takes a lot of time to trust a stranger. Ali is a food motivated little girl, but needs a little work with commands. She gets along great with cats and both big and little dogs. Ali does okay on a leash, she is getting more confident eevry day but still needs work.

Overall, Ali would make perfect lap dog for someone willing to take the time to let her get used to you. She needs an experienced, patient owner that has an adult-only home.

Can’t have a dog of your own? Have a soft spot for old, sick or hard to place dogs? It only takes a $20 a month donation for me to be your virtual dog! I need at least 10 virtual adopters (sponsors) to help cover my monthly costs.  If I have medical challenges I need even more! r having to leave your home, you can have your very own online dog that will send you update emails, make Facebook posts, and be eternally grateful for your support!  Go to the donate link at the top of the page for instructions as to how to donate.
