Jade was surrendered by owners who no longer wanted her. Jade is a stay at home kind of girl.  She needs time for her and only her - she does okay with other dogs but she wants to be the light of someone's life.  If you're watching TV, she'll be in your lap. If your washing dishes, she'll be on the floor beside you.  If your in the bathroom, she's right there waiting on you. In bed she's your cuddle partner.  She's needy but she's fun to be needed by and she will give you love in spades.

Jade loves everyone.  When our caregiver picked Jade up from her previous home (where she was a lonely outside dog) she rode in her lap.  During the 15 minute ride, Jade bonded.

Jade is crated during the day when her caregiver mom is gone.  She is not happy in the crate and she cries and yells when she leaves for work but leaving her out is not an option.  She has separation anxiety. Once when left out, she crawled up into the window and her caregiver mom could see her clawing he window pane. When her caregiver mom came back, Jade was still in the window waiting and watching.  She would really prefer not to be left alone at all.  She would be an ideal companion for someone who is home or bed bound. Or if you want a dog to take to work, she's your girl and would take over your customer service department with ease. Jade loves kids and would do well with them.

Can’t have a dog of your own? Have a soft spot for old, sick or hard to place dogs? It only takes a $20 a month donation for me to be your virtual dog! I need at least 10 virtual adopters (sponsors) to help cover my monthly costs.  If I have medical challenges I need even more! r having to leave your home, you can have your very own online dog that will send you update emails, make Facebook posts, and be eternally grateful for your support!  Go to the donate link at the top of the page for instructions as to how to donate.
