My Story

Date into rescue: 4/28/2018

Reason for being in rescue? Surrendered by owners who could no longer care for him.

Special Needs?

What kind of home would be best for me? Bailey of NJ is a young, frisky girl who would love an active home where she can play. Bailey gets along well with other dogs. She would do well with a canine companion in her home, or could be someone's one and only. Bailey of NJ does not require a fenced in yard, but would love an environment where she can run and play.

What is my personality like? Can you say spunky?! Bailey either wants to be in your lap or sniffing out some fun to get into. Out of the group she came in with she is for sure the most social one. She can be a little shy and nervous at first but it takes no time for her to ask for love. Bailey is full of curiosity. When taking her for walks she is too busy smelling things out to even notice you are walking her! We do not think Bailey has had much experience with toys or basic commands, but she is slowly learning what they are and is very treat motivated. She fits right in with her cottage mates and never causes any issues, she just wants to have fun, go on adventures, and curl up in her favorite lap at the end of a long day.

How do I act when I meet new people? Friendly

Tips and Tidbits: Bailey came to the rescue with several other dogs from the same home. The owner realized it was in the dogs best interest to release to CPR due to financial reasons.

House trained? Dogs can be house trained if they are in the right environment and are allowed to follow a schedule as long as a physical reason doesn't keep them from being trained.  A dog house trained in my home may not be in yours. We will help you teach your new dog this necessary skill and based on your schedule.

Potential Adopters

Please note - we do not ship or transport our dogs. If you are interested in adopting a dog, take a look at the distance between the dog's location and your location and make sure you are able to make the trip.

Thank you for your interest in a dog who needs a new home. This description contains all that we currently know about this dog. We have no perfect dogs - but many of our dogs have proven to be perfect for a certain someone. We urge all of our potential adopters not to fall in love with a picture. When screening applications, we look at the entire home and then make suggestions based on what would be a good fit for your home. You are not being screened for a specific dog although we are looking to see what type of dog interests you - poodles or non poodles, age, temperament, personality, etc. Our goal is to match you with the best possible pet for you and your home. We want to create furever families.
