Lady was rescued from the Humane Society when she was 2 years old. For the next 11 years she was the beloved lap pet to a single woman. Mom loved her baby very much and made her the princess of the castle. Very sadly, mom passed away and Lady needed a safe place to retire.
We were told coming in that Lady was not a fan of other dogs. We said yes anyway. Much to our surprise, Lady has proven to be fine with other dogs. She does have some limited vision and hearing so she can startle easily. This aside, Lady is doing well with other dogs and has shown no signs of aggression toward other dogs.
Lady would like nothing more than a lap to call her own again. She would be a wonderful companion for a retired woman looking for someone to snuggle all day.
Can’t have a dog of your own? Have a soft spot for old, sick or hard to place dogs? It only takes a $20 a month donation for me to be your virtual dog! I need at least 10 virtual adopters (sponsors) to help cover my monthly costs. If I have medical challenges I need even more! The caregivers at Carolina Poodle Rescue will do the rest. Just think, without ever having to leave your home, you can have your very own online dog that will send you update emails, make Facebook posts, and be eternally grateful for your support! Go to the donate link at the top of the page for instructions as to how to donate. Questions? Email: email@example.com
