Aiden's owner was diagnosed with cancer and, overwhelmed with her own health problems, could no longer care for him.

Aiden has been with for a while after we placed him in May of 2012 and the placement did not turn out.  Aiden used his teeth on his new owner and that is something we take seriously.  Aiden went to live with our director and over the summer, we found out that he is really a guy's dog through and through.

Here is what Aiden will thrive with. He'd like a single guy, probably a professional who either works from home or comes and goes frequently.  No kids - prefer no girls thank you although if they will just leave him alone and not try to squeal over him and pick him up, he's be okay.  He does not mind waiting for you to get home from work.  Once home, he'd like a quieter kind of person who may throw a toy up and down the kitchen floor or will be content to have him sitting at your feet.  He wants routine, a good meal, a few kind pats and his squeaky toys and life is good.

Aiden is not the kind of guy you can throw up in bed with you for he'll take advantage of that liberty.  He needs his own space and his own bed and in return, he will give you quiet companionship.

Can’t have a dog of your own? Have a soft spot for old, sick or hard to place dogs? It only takes a $20 a month donation for me to be your virtual dog! I need at least 10 virtual adopters (sponsors) to help cover my monthly costs.  If I have medical challenges I need even more! r having to leave your home, you can have your very own online dog that will send you update emails, make Facebook posts, and be eternally grateful for your support!  Go to the donate link at the top of the page for instructions as to how to donate.
