Biography

I was rescued once before but then things changed.  My owner is dying and her last wish is that I be safe before she goes.  She has partnered with CPR to find that safe place.  My owner will talk with you by email once you take me home and tell you all she knows.  Getting pictures and updates of her babies being loved is her last wish.

Shorty was picked up as a stray by the county pound. He doesn't really care for steps much. He is very affectionate.  Shorty says "I'm old and I'm slow but I'd still like to go!"

Shorty has short legs for a cocker - it's like a cocker coat and personality balanced on basset hound legs.  He has always been plagued with ear infections. Because of this, he tilts his head slightly.  Shorty is a sweet and quiet boy.  His favorite thing to do is sleep and what better thing to do when you're in retirement. He loves a soft, fluffy comforter to lay on.

Sponsorship

Can’t have a dog of your own? Have a soft spot for old, sick or hard to place dogs? It only takes a $20 a month donation for me to be your virtual dog!  I need at least 10 virtual adopters (sponsors) to help cover my monthly costs.  If I have medical challenges I need even more! The caregivers at Carolina Poodle Rescue will do the rest.  Just think, without ever having to leave your home, you can have your very own online dog that will send you update emails, make Facebook posts, and be eternally grateful for your support!  Go to the donate link at the top of the page for instructions as to how to donate. Questions?  Email: jessie.morgan@carolinapoodlerescue.org
