Jumper came to Carolina Poodle Rescue via a rescuer who was having health problems.

Jumper is a very special little man. He takes a while to warm up to a new environment, but once he does he will be your shadow dog. He is nervous by nature. We do not know where some of his anxiety stems. We know he is very afraid of gunshots and fireworks. Jumper is one of our "easiest" dogs here at the farm. He is crate trained, he listens well, and he really knows his routine here. In fact we don't even have to ask him to do much, he just automatically does it.

Jumper is very sweet and kind . He loves attention and all kinds of loving. He is good with dogs and cats and all people.. He walks well on a leash. He also likes belly scratches and treats. Jumper can be shy at first but once he gets to know you he can’t get enough. He will pretty much follow you around anywhere if given the chance.

Jumper needs a home where his person is home more than they are away. He doesn't like being alone for long periods of time and wants to be with his person. He loves other dogs of all sizes and gets along wonderfully with everyone. He loves human attention and can spend hours getting his tummy rubbed. Jumper is looking for a laid back family to relax and enjoy his old man days with.

Can’t have a dog of your own? Have a soft spot for old, sick or hard to place dogs? It only takes a $20 a month donation for me to be your virtual dog! I need at least 10 virtual adopters (sponsors) to help cover my monthly costs.  If I have medical challenges I need even more! r having to leave your home, you can have your very own online dog that will send you update emails, make Facebook posts, and be eternally grateful for your support!  Go to the donate link at the top of the page for instructions as to how to donate.
