Sammy's brother and he were strays, found wandering the streets of Union almost 5 years ago. When CPR took him in he was heart worm positive and had terrible grain allergies that lead to having an ear ablation due to horrible, painful ear infections. Since being treated we are happy to announce he is heart worm negative and has no more ear issues. His skin can get a little itchy, but that too is getting much better.
Humans scare Sammy. They have not been so nice to me in the past but he is slowing learning to trust. For a while, Sammy didn’t want anyone touching him and he hated those leash thingys. Since living with his foster family, Sammy has learned to enjoy leash walking and being cuddled with. His favorite walks are hikes in the woods!
Sammy enjoys time snuggling with his foster siblings and his foster mom. He is still a little afraid but knows he is safe and that has changed his life. Sammy wasn’t sure about this thing called “love” but it has given him a tingly feeling inside, so it has to be good, right?
Can’t have a dog of your own? Have a soft spot for old, sick or hard to place dogs? It only takes a $20 a month donation for me to be your virtual dog! I need at least 10 virtual adopters (sponsors) to help cover my monthly costs. If I have medical challenges I need even more! r having to leave your home, you can have your very own online dog that will send you update emails, make Facebook posts, and be eternally grateful for your support! Go to the donate link at the top of the page for instructions as to how to donate. Questions? Email: email@example.com
I love my Virtual Adopters!Donate
