Lucky was an Owner release to Columbia shelter, reason stated "Lucky was his sister's dog and she passed away and he cannot care for her dog.” Lucky has been with us for over a year and his luck has changed. He's gone from sad, blind and unsure to happy and bright. Cataract surgery restored his vision and with it his zest for life, He's a sassy little senior guy with a lot of love and life left to give someone who understands that double digits doesn't mean done.
Lucky runs and plays like a puppy. He gets along well with other dogs as long as food isn't involved. He is a bit of a hoarder when it comes to his meals and does not want to share but it's not hard to control.
Lucky loves to sleep in the bed and spending his time cuddled on a lap. He will snap if he's woken up so the old adage "let sleeping dogs lie" applies here. He is currently in a foster home and gets along great with his foster siblings.
Can’t have a dog of your own? Have a soft spot for old, sick or hard to place dogs? It only takes a $20 a month donation for me to be your virtual dog! I need at least 10 virtual adopters (sponsors) to help cover my monthly costs. If I have medical challenges I need even more! r having to leave your home, you can have your very own online dog that will send you update emails, make Facebook posts, and be eternally grateful for your support! Go to the donate link at the top of the page for instructions as to how to donate. Questions? Email: email@example.com
I love my Virtual Adopters! CHRISTA C, BARBARA H, JANIS L, JESSIE M, JENNIFER RDonate
