Deanna was found as a stray. She is a happy, goofy big girl! She is friendly and loves everyone. She would do great in many different environments. Although we have not seen her around kids, we feel she would be a great addition to a family with kids; she keeps us on our toes! She is very loving and affectionate. Deanna loves treats and loves toys, though she destroys most toys she gets a hold of.

Deanna has made huge improvements since she has came in. She no longer pulls on the leash unless something catches her attention. She can sit on command is highly treat motivated so teaching her commands would be easy with time. Deanna is dog selective.. she only likes certain dogs and she must be the leader with her doggy friends. Alone, she just wants to sniff everywhere while being by your side. Deanna does not do well with cats - she thinks they are toys to chase.

Deanna is extremely loyal and can be your constant best friend if you let her. She would love a home with an active family that enjoys hikes or runs. Deanna would be best as an only dog. If you are looking for an energetic companion to share an active lifestyle with, Deanna could be your best friend!

Owner Experience 4: Experienced dog owner. This will be your second or third dog, but have had no behavioral or medical challenges to work with.

Deanna recently completed the U.S. Canine Biathlon and rocked it! She was also featured on a local television station. Check out this wonderful girl here:

Can’t have a dog of your own? Have a soft spot for old, sick or hard to place dogs? It only takes a $20 a month donation for me to be your virtual dog! I need at least 10 virtual adopters (sponsors) to help cover my monthly costs.  If I have medical challenges I need even more! r having to leave your home, you can have your very own online dog that will send you update emails, make Facebook posts, and be eternally grateful for your support!  Go to the donate link at the top of the page for instructions as to how to donate.
