Biography
Rocky was surrendered into a shelter in Greensboro, and we picked him up from there. His owners gave no reasons. Rocky came to us in 2018 and has been living life on his terms ever since!
Rocky is a distinguished gentleman. He is full of spunk and sass and loves begging at your feet for treats. He is a funny boy with a happy-go-lucky attitude and just a few quirks about him that we think make him all the more endearing. He is a direct communicator. He loves dogs that don’t pester him. He loves food and comfy beds, duh. He likes to be pet upon his approval. Steals blankets. He is a total catch! Xoxo, Rocky
Although Rocky has many unique habits about him that make him special, he is a loyal companion to his core. He’s a very independent dog who doesn’t mind entertaining himself. We like to think he marches to the beat of his own drum. Rocky is unique, spunky and opinionated in the best ways. He is full of life and prefers to be the boss most days. Rocky loves toys and treats. When he wants attention or wants to play, he makes a lot of noises and growls. He play bites, putting hands and fingers in this mouth as a puppy would do.
Rocky is easy going mostly and his caregivers adore him and find him quite humorous! He doesn’t care much for being groomed or not getting his way, but if he’s satisfied, content (and fed) he’s a sweet boy who just wants to do things his way and we don’t mind that one bit!
Sponsorship
Can’t have a dog of your own? Have a soft spot for old, sick or hard to place dogs? It only takes a $20 a month donation for me to be your virtual dog! I need at least 10 virtual adopters (sponsors) to help cover my monthly costs. If I have medical challenges I need even more! The caregivers at Carolina Poodle Rescue will do the rest. Just think, without ever having to leave your home, you can have your very own online dog that will send you update emails, make Facebook posts, and be eternally grateful for your support! Go to the donate link at the top of the page for instructions as to how to donate. Questions? Email: cprsosdogs@carolinapoodlerescue.org
