Why am I with a rescue group? Cherry was surrendered by her owners to a local animal shelter. CPR pulled her from the shelter. Cherry is spayed and UTD on all vaccines. She had a dental polishing on 8/28/20. At 16 pounds, Cherry is overweight and needs to lose about 3 pounds. She is vision impaired due to mature cataracts in both eyes. She has dementia.

Cherry is a sweet senior girl. She prefers to spend most of her days sleeping. She gets along well with other dogs and loves to cuddle with them. Most days find Cherry snuggled up in a bed with another quiet, senior dog. Cherry walks well on a leash and will follow your voice. She isn't up for long, rigorous walks, but enjoys the warmth of sunshine on her back. Cherry is a wonderful dog for grooming.

Cherry is a simple girl looking for a retirement home. A warm bed, another dog to snuggle with, and lots of lap time is all it takes to make this princess happy!

Can’t have a dog of your own? Have a soft spot for old, sick or hard to place dogs? It only takes a $20 a month donation for me to be your virtual dog! I need at least 10 virtual adopters (sponsors) to help cover my monthly costs.  If I have medical challenges I need even more! r having to leave your home, you can have your very own online dog that will send you update emails, make Facebook posts, and be eternally grateful for your support!  Go to the donate link at the top of the page for instructions as to how to donate.
