My Story

Date into Rescue:  11/25/2019

Reason for being in rescue:  owner release, owner going into assisted living

Special Needs: Molly had a fatty mass that was removed, we don't have enough history to know whether or not it will come back. Molly is overweight - she really struggles with her weight.  She needs to be on a gentle/slow but regular walking program.

What kind of home would be best for me: Molly is looking for a home that can accommodate her and her bondmate Paloma. Molly needs a home with some structure and routine in place, she is still very skittish and shy.

What is my personality like? Molly has a bonded best friend named Paloma, they will need to be together as Molly relies on Paloma for just about everything. She is a little uncomfortable with men but will come around after a while. Molly is pretty tolerant when you greet her, she doesn't get to excited though. Molly is affectionate once she gets to know you and does like to be touching humans, she also stays under caregivers feet when they are together! She does run for the safety of her crate a lot, and she is okay with other dogs being in her space. Molly is also very laid back when a lot of noise and sounds are going on around her. Molly just needs love, patience, and guidance.  She has been loved and would love to be loved again.  Could you be her and her best friends forever home:

How do I act when I first meet new people: Very timid and shy, takes time to warm up.

Tips and Tidbits: Birthdate 03/12/2009

House trained: Dogs can be house trained if they are in the right environment and are allowed to follow a schedule as long as a physical reason doesn't keep them from being trained.  A dog house trained in my home may not be in yours. We will help you teach your new dog this necessary skill and based on your schedule.

Potential Adopters

Please note - we do not ship or transport our dogs. If you are interested in adopting a dog, take a look at the distance between the dog's location and your location and make sure you are able to make the trip.

Thank you for your interest in a dog who needs a new home. This description contains all that we currently know about this dog. We have no perfect dogs - but many of our dogs have proven to be perfect for a certain someone. We urge all of our potential adopters not to fall in love with a picture. When screening applications, we look at the entire home and then make suggestions based on what would be a good fit for your home. You are not being screened for a specific dog although we are looking to see what type of dog interests you - poodles or non poodles, age, temperament, personality, etc. Our goal is to match you with the best possible pet for you and your home. We want to create furever families.
