Reason for being in rescue: Precious's owner passed away and she landed at a shelter. Carolina Poodle Rescue pulled her from the shelter.
Special Needs: Precious is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and heartworm negative. On 6/16/21 Precious had a dental polishing. Precious and her sister Molly are a bonded pair. THEY WILL ONLY BE ADOPTED TOGETHER.
What kind of home would be best for me: Precious and her sister Molly are a bonded pair looking for a home together. These girls are looking for a home where someone is home (work from home or retired), where pets sleep in the bed and snuggle on the couch, and where the snuggles are frequent. Precious and Molly are good with other dogs and with cats. We do not know if they have ever been around children, but they have mild demeanors. These sisters require a home together.
What is my personality like: Precious and her sister Molly were the beloved companions of a retiree. Sadly, their mom passed away and they landed at the shelter. These girls have been very loved and are looking for a home together.
Precious is the more laid back of these beautiful sisters. True to her name, she has an adorable personality and a demeanor as gentle and loving to match. She loves attention and cuddly beds, but only wants these if her sister is near. As much as Molly loves hairbows and dress up, Precious is timid about them. She'd rather be her natural self without all the glam.
Like her sister, Precious is a princess looking for her castle. She is great with other dogs and with people. This is a sleep in the bed, snuggle during the day kind of girl. While Precious looks to Molly to take the lead, she shares her whole heart in a big way!
Precious and Molly are looking for a home together. This bonded pair will not be separated. If you don't have room in your heart for 2 precious girls, Precious is not your dog.
How do I act when I first meet new people: Friendly
Tips and Tidbits: Molly's estimated birthday is 06/05/2017
House trained: Dogs can be house trained if they are in the right environment and are allowed to follow a schedule as long as a physical reason doesn't keep them from being trained. A dog house trained in my home may not be in yours. We will help you teach your new dog this necessary skill and based on your schedule.
Please note - we do not ship or transport our dogs. If you are interested in adopting a dog, take a look at the distance between the dog's location and your location and make sure you are able to make the trip.
Thank you for your interest in a dog who needs a new home. This description contains all that we currently know about this dog. We have no perfect dogs - but many of our dogs have proven to be perfect for a certain someone. We urge all of our potential adopters not to fall in love with a picture. When screening applications, we look at the entire home and then make suggestions based on what would be a good fit for your home. You are not being screened for a specific dog although we are looking to see what type of dog interests you - poodles or non poodles, age, temperament, personality, etc. Our goal is to match you with the best possible pet for you and your home. We want to create furever families.
