Meet An Adoptable Dog
Breed: Pomeranian / Mixed (medium coat)
Weight: 14 lbs - Molly is overweight and needs to lose at least 2 pounds
Height: 12 in
Estimated Birthdate: 6/5/2011
Fence Needed: No
Location: Dreamweaver Farms, Pacolet SC
Adoption Fee:$350 for pair
Reason for being in rescue: Molly's owner passed away and she landed at a shelter. Carolina Poodle Rescue pulled her from the shelter.
Special Needs: Molly is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and heartworm negative. On 6/16/21 she had a dental with 1 extraction. She will need regular dental checkups. She also had a 1/4 inch cystic mass removed which was adjacent to her 5th mammary tumor. Our vet noted that Molly does have some early cataract development. Molly and her sister Precious are a bonded pair. THEY WILL ONLY BE ADOPTED TOGETHER.
What kind of home would be best for me: Molly and her sister Precious are a bonded pair looking for a home together. These girls are looking for a home where someone is home (work from home or retired), where pets sleep in the bed and snuggle on the couch, and where the snuggles are frequent. Precious and Molly are good with other dogs and with cats. We do not know if they have ever been around children, but they have mild demeanors. These sisters require a home together.
What is my personality like: Molly and her sister Precious were the beloved companions of a retiree. Sadly, their mom passed away and they landed at the shelter. These girls have been very loved and are looking for a home together.
Molly is the more confident of the sister. She loves to gives kisses and loves to cuddle. This sweet girl gets along with everyone and everything. As you can see in her photos, she was born for hairbows and lots of spoiling.
Molly is a princess looking for a home that will treat her as such. She wants to be on the couch and in your lap. This is a sleep in the bed, snuggle during the day kind of girl. As Molly's lead caregiver so aptly shared, you may think Molly is your pet, but really you will be hers.
Molly and Precious are looking for a home together. This bonded pair will not be separated. If you don't have room in your heart for 2 precious girls, Molly is not your dog.
How do I act when I first meet new people: Friendly
Tips and Tidbits: Molly's estimated birthday is 6/5/2011
House trained: Dogs can be house trained if they are in the right environment and are allowed to follow a schedule as long as a physical reason doesn't keep them from being trained. A dog house trained in my home may not be in yours. We will help you teach your new dog this necessary skill and based on your schedule.
Please note - we do not ship or transport our dogs. If you are interested in adopting a dog, take a look at the distance between the dog's location and your location and make sure you are able to make the trip.
Thank you for your interest in a dog who needs a new home. This description contains all that we currently know about this dog. We have no perfect dogs - but many of our dogs have proven to be perfect for a certain someone. We urge all of our potential adopters not to fall in love with a picture. When screening applications, we look at the entire home and then make suggestions based on what would be a good fit for your home. You are not being screened for a specific dog although we are looking to see what type of dog interests you - poodles or non poodles, age, temperament, personality, etc. Our goal is to match you with the best possible pet for you and your home. We want to create furever families.
