Gigi was surrendered by her owners to a shelter in North Carolina. We have no idea why a family would give up such a sweet, wonderful girl but suspect it may be because Gigi had medical challenges they didn't know how to address. Carolina Poodle Rescue took one look at her face in the shelter and said yes!

Gigi is as sweet and happy a girl as you will ever meet. She never meets a stranger, greets everyone with the happiest smile, and is a dog you can put into any situation and she'll make the most of it. Gigi is great with dogs of all sizes and indifferent to cats. She has lived with children and visited with children of all ages and is as gentle as they come. 

Gigi is looking for a lap. This princess loves to be near people. She enjoys short, quiet strolls and would be a great walking partner for a daily walk. She will sit with you quietly and watch television and snuggle in bed at night.

Gigi is a senior dog. She is spayed, up to date on vaccines and heartworm negative. Gigi has immature bilateral cataracts. Due to age, we will not be doing surgery on her eyes. Gigi has suspected atypical Cushing's disease and is currently on medicine to manage to this. 

Every day, this angel fills her foster mom's heart and lap with so much love!
