My Story

Date into Rescue: 03/2022

Reason for being in rescue: Theodore was advertised on a free to good home site. A caregiver saw his photo and wanted to ensure he ended up in the right forever home.

Special Needs: Theodore is a young puppy. He is vaccinated for this age. Theodore is not neutered. He will be adopted on a spay/neuter contract which requires you to neuter him at your expense and provide proof of neuter within 12 months.

What kind of home would be best for me: Theodore needs a home with another dog. Being this young and away from his litter mates has made Theodore a little needier than most puppies his age. He needs a companion dog that is even tempered, ready to play and ready to snuggle with Theodore as he grows! Theodore needs owners who understand he is a puppy and everything they want Theodore to learn will be up to them to ensure he learns and grows into a well behaved adult dog!

What is my personality like: Theodore is a typical puppy, he loves to play, play, play and then nap, nap, nap! He is an active little guy who is already presenting a very mischievous personality! He’s silly and goofy, just all things puppy. He enjoys taking down his foster moms dogs! He is acclimated to living with large dogs and he loves it! Foster moms dogs let Theodore snuggle with them for bedtime and he is very happy about it! Theodore is a spunky puppy ready to learn new things everyday!

Theodore is a sweet, cuddly mystery. He was brought to us by a kindly lady who had picked up a puppy that was free to good home and could not stand to leave the brother so got him, too but could not take care of him.  She brought him to us.  We know nothing - not the parents, not the origin, nothing.  He is a happy go lucky pup who looks spaniely and labby but is anyone's guess.

How do I act when I first meet new people: Excited and happy to be loved!!

Tips and Tidbits: Est birthdate is 2/18/2022.

House trained: Dogs can be house trained if they are in the right environment and are allowed to follow a schedule as long as a physical reason doesn't keep them from being trained.  A dog house trained in my home may not be in yours. We will help you teach your new dog this necessary skill and based on your schedule.

Potential Adopters

Please note - we do not ship or transport our dogs. If you are interested in adopting a dog, take a look at the distance between the dog's location and your location and make sure you are able to make the trip.

Thank you for your interest in a dog who needs a new home. This description contains all that we currently know about this dog. We have no perfect dogs - but many of our dogs have proven to be perfect for a certain someone. We urge all of our potential adopters not to fall in love with a picture. When screening applications, we look at the entire home and then make suggestions based on what would be a good fit for your home. You are not being screened for a specific dog although we are looking to see what type of dog interests you - poodles or non poodles, age, temperament, personality, etc. Our goal is to match you with the best possible pet for you and your home. We want to create furever families.
