What kind of home would be best for me: Baron is a retired breeder dog learning what it means to be a pet. What he lacks in experience he makes up for in love for his humans. Baron O is looking for a home that will offer him plenty of mental and physical stimulation. He is smart and eager to learn and work. Baron O also wants a home where someone is home during the day. He loves his people and would be a perfect camping, hiking and travel buddy. Baron O is used to being top dog; given this he needs to either be the only dog OR live with a submissive large dog. Baron O has never lived with cats or children.
What is my personality like: Baron is a sweet boy who loves to be near his humans. He is a moderately active dog who is very confident. He is currently working on sit and has picked up on it quickly. Baron would do well with any type of training as he seems to be a quick learner.
Baron has a beautiful voice and will every once in a while sing you the songs of his people! He does well with other dogs and can be taken out to socialize from time to time. Baron could also live in a home with another dog. Baron is confident in who he is and would like to be more of the leader in his pack rather than a follower.
Baron is looking for a home where his people are able to take him on trips or hiking adventures - anything to keep his mind stimulated in the right ways. Puzzle toys are also a good way to keep Baron entertained. He is crate trained and keeps it clean it is recommended Baron have a crate in the home as he often seeks out his crate for comfort and rest.
How do I act when I first meet new people: Friendly
Tips and Tidbits: Baron O is estimated at 7 years old. We celebrate his birthday as 4/15/2015.
House trained: Dogs can be house trained if they are in the right environment and are allowed to follow a schedule as long as a physical reason doesn't keep them from being trained. A dog house trained in my home may not be in yours. We will help you teach your new dog this necessary skill and based on your schedule.
Please note - we do not ship or transport our dogs. If you are interested in adopting a dog, take a look at the distance between the dog's location and your location and make sure you are able to make the trip.
Thank you for your interest in a dog who needs a new home. This description contains all that we currently know about this dog. We have no perfect dogs - but many of our dogs have proven to be perfect for a certain someone. We urge all of our potential adopters not to fall in love with a picture. When screening applications, we look at the entire home and then make suggestions based on what would be a good fit for your home. You are not being screened for a specific dog although we are looking to see what type of dog interests you - poodles or non poodles, age, temperament, personality, etc. Our goal is to match you with the best possible pet for you and your home. We want to create furever families.
