My Story

Date into Rescue: 5/28/2022

Reason for being in rescue: Lovingly surrendered by owners

Special Needs: Milo is half of a bonded pair with Macy. They must go to a home together. Milo is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and heartworm negative. Milo will have a dental the week of 8/8/22.

What kind of home would be best for me: First and foremost, we are looking for a home with room in their hearts for two dogs. Milo is half of a bonded pair with his best friend Macy. They will not be separated. If you don't want 2 dogs, please do not apply to adopt Milo. Milo is looking for a home that has experience with rescue dogs and will help heal his little heart and give him the confidence to come out of his shell. Soft beds, plenty of toys and small balls, and daily walks are on his wish list. Milo and Maci prefer to be the only dogs in your home.

What is my personality like: Milo is a sweet boy who just needs some patience and time. He is very curious but is scared. He is the sweetest boy once you get to know him. Milo mostly lays around and naps with his sister but does occasionally walk around outside. He is very clean in a crate and absolutely loves food. He does enjoys playing with balls and small toys.

Milo is very bonded with his sister Macy. Loving him means loving Macy. They will only be adopted together.

How do I act when I first meet new people: Shy, but warms up with time and consistency

Tips and Tidbits: Milo is estimated at 5 years old. We celebrate his birthday as 5/28/2017.

House trained: Dogs can be house trained if they are in the right environment and are allowed to follow a schedule as long as a physical reason doesn't keep them from being trained.  A dog house trained in my home may not be in yours. We will help you teach your new dog this necessary skill and based on your schedule.

Potential Adopters

Please note - we do not ship or transport our dogs. If you are interested in adopting a dog, take a look at the distance between the dog's location and your location and make sure you are able to make the trip.

Thank you for your interest in a dog who needs a new home. This description contains all that we currently know about this dog. We have no perfect dogs - but many of our dogs have proven to be perfect for a certain someone. We urge all of our potential adopters not to fall in love with a picture. When screening applications, we look at the entire home and then make suggestions based on what would be a good fit for your home. You are not being screened for a specific dog although we are looking to see what type of dog interests you - poodles or non poodles, age, temperament, personality, etc. Our goal is to match you with the best possible pet for you and your home. We want to create furever families.
