My Story
Reason for being in rescue: owner release
Special Needs: Lilly is spayed, up to date on vaccines and heartworm negative. Lilly eats a diet of salmon and potato. Lilly is bonded to her best friend Duchess. She will only be adopted to a home with room in their heart for both dogs.
What kind of home would be best for me: First and foremost, we are looking for a home with room in their heart for 2 dogs. Lilly and her best friend Duchess are bonded and will not be separated. If you don't have room in your heart for 2 dogs, please do not apply to adopt them. Duchess and Lilly would love a home where someone is home during the day, but it isn't a requirement. They would love a fenced yard, but will be happy if you take them for regular walks throughout the day.
What is my personality like: Hey everyone my name is Lily. My foster mommy loves me very much and has taken wonderful care of my sister and I. And she just wants someone to love us as much as she does. She thinks I might have Shih Tzu Westy and carrion terrier and me. But I am a lovable little girl and I am housebroken. I love to play with toys and at my house right now I have a box full of them. But she says I’ll probably have to leave them so I hope my new family buys me new toys.
I get groomed regularly because my mommy right now is a dog groomer and I love to have my hair put up with hair bows. And I love to prance around because I know when I have them I’m pretty. I love playing in the backyard although I am an inside dog. And when it’s nice out and the sun is shining I actually lay out on her deck and sunbathe.
Lilly and her best friend Duchess are wonderful girls looking for a home with room in their heart for 2 furry princesses!

Tips and Tidbits: Lilly is 7.5 years old. We celebrate her birthday as 7/23/2015.
House trained: Dogs can be house trained if they are in the right environment and are allowed to follow a schedule as long as a physical reason doesn't keep them from being trained. A dog house trained in my home may not be in yours. We will help you teach your new dog this necessary skill and based on your schedule.

You are not being screened for a specific dog although we are looking to see what type of dog interests you - poodles or non poodles, age, temperament, personality, etc. Our goal is to match you with the best possible pet for you and your home.
