My Story

Date into Rescue: 8/5/2022

Reason for being in rescue: breeder release

Special Needs:

What kind of home would be best for me: Hemi is in search for a quiet, laid-back home where she can kick back and relax fur-ever! Hemi needs a fenced in backyard where she can romp and play with her humans, and possibly another furry friend or two. She can get a little skittish when things get loud, so just be mindful and reassure her everything will be okay in those situations. Walks, puzzle toys/games, and play-dates with other dogs are essential to keeping Hemi's mind sharp and getting her energy out for the day.

What is my personality like: Hemi may come off as a wallflower at first, but deep down this pretty lady is a natural socialite. Hemi wants to be around her people and fur friends as much as possible. She doesn't care whether you are out for an adventure, or just sitting around enjoying each other's company...as long as you are together making memories to last a lifetime!

If Hemi sees you don't have a smile on your face, she will happily give you hers. Her heart is as pure as snow, and loves her people unconditionally. She loves to get silly alongside her fur-ever family, laughing right along with them. Her cheerful, fun-loving spirit is contagious. If you aren't looking to catch anything, keep looking because Hemi isn't your girl.

How do I act when I first meet new people: Hemi likes to act shy at first, but comes around fairly quickly. She will come up to you within a few minutes, smiling ear to ear...she can't help herself!

Tips and Tidbits: Hemi's exact birthday is 7/26/2015.

House trained: Dogs can be house trained if they are in the right environment and are allowed to follow a schedule as long as a physical reason doesn't keep them from being trained.  A dog house trained in my home may not be in yours. We will help you teach your new dog this necessary skill and based on your schedule.

Potential Adopters

Please note - we do not ship or transport our dogs. If you are interested in adopting a dog, take a look at the distance between the dog's location and your location and make sure you are able to make the trip.

Thank you for your interest in a dog who needs a new home. This description contains all that we currently know about this dog. We have no perfect dogs - but many of our dogs have proven to be perfect for a certain someone. We urge all of our potential adopters not to fall in love with a picture. When screening applications, we look at the entire home and then make suggestions based on what would be a good fit for your home. You are not being screened for a specific dog although we are looking to see what type of dog interests you - poodles or non poodles, age, temperament, personality, etc. Our goal is to match you with the best possible pet for you and your home. We want to create furever families.
