My Story

Date into Rescue: 8/9/2022

Reason for being in rescue: stray

Special Needs: Garfield is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and FIV negative.

What kind of home would be best for me: Garfield would do great in just about any home, as long as they don’t mind his crazy kitten ways. He likes having a playmate(s) since he is a kitten. He doesn’t care if they are other cats, dogs, or even human children, just as long as they play with him as much as he demands.

What is my personality like: Garfield is a bit nosy, and wants to be in the loop on all the happenings in his home. This sometimes can get him into some interesting situations, but he doesn’t mind a little adventure here and there. Like the famous Garfield we all know and love, this one is no different when it comes to food, he loves it all! This baby Garfield may become famous on his own one day too, he aspires to be a cat model. He enjoys spending his free time posing for pictures, so be sure to set up an Instagram account for him when you take him home.

How do I act when I first meet new people: Garfield loves everyone he meets. We doubt he will ever meet a stranger, human or furry.

Tips and Tidbits: Garfield came to us as a stray, so his best estimated birthday is 4/24/2022.

House trained: Garfield is litter box trained.

Potential Adopters

Please note - we do not ship or transport our dogs. If you are interested in adopting a dog, take a look at the distance between the dog's location and your location and make sure you are able to make the trip.

Thank you for your interest in a dog who needs a new home. This description contains all that we currently know about this dog. We have no perfect dogs - but many of our dogs have proven to be perfect for a certain someone. We urge all of our potential adopters not to fall in love with a picture. When screening applications, we look at the entire home and then make suggestions based on what would be a good fit for your home. You are not being screened for a specific dog although we are looking to see what type of dog interests you - poodles or non poodles, age, temperament, personality, etc. Our goal is to match you with the best possible pet for you and your home. We want to create furever families.

Thank you for considering CPR!
