My Story

Date into Rescue: 9/12/2022

Reason for being in rescue: stray

Special Needs: Reynolds in neutered, up to date on vaccines and heartworm negative.

What kind of home would be best for me: Reynolds is an easy-going boy looking for a calm lifestyle. His ideal home is with someone home during the day, though he would be fine as long as you provide breaks during the day. He will be happy as the only dog or with other dogs or cats. If Reynolds has ever lived with children, we do not know and have no experience with. Reynolds enjoys walking and needs daily exercise.

What is my personality like: How a dog as sweet as Reynolds ended up roaming the streets is a mystery, but one with a happy ending. For a boy with a completely unknown past, he is as sweet and good as they come. Life is happy in Reynolds foster home and he is loving being a companion dog. We suspect he must have been one at some point in the past and is happy to get back to this lifestyle.

Reynolds is described by his foster mom as a very sweet boy. He is easy-going, rolls happily with the pack in his foster home, and loves with his entire heart. He walks well on a leash and enjoys riding in the car. Reynolds is a snuggle in your lap, sleep in the bed sort of boy. He's good with other dogs of all sizes.

How do I act when I first meet new people: Friendly

Tips and Tidbits: Reynolds was found as a stray so we have no history on him. Based on his health and overall condition he is estimated at 5 years old. We celebrate Reynolds' birtday as 9/12/2017.

House trained: Dogs can be house trained if they are in the right environment and are allowed to follow a schedule as long as a physical reason doesn't keep them from being trained.  A dog house trained in my home may not be in yours. We will help you teach your new dog this necessary skill and based on your schedule.

Potential Adopters

Please note - we do not ship or transport our dogs. If you are interested in adopting a dog, take a look at the distance between the dog's location and your location and make sure you are able to make the trip.

Thank you for your interest in a dog who needs a new home. This description contains all that we currently know about this dog. We have no perfect dogs - but many of our dogs have proven to be perfect for a certain someone. We urge all of our potential adopters not to fall in love with a picture. When screening applications, we look at the entire home and then make suggestions based on what would be a good fit for your home. You are not being screened for a specific dog although we are looking to see what type of dog interests you - poodles or non poodles, age, temperament, personality, etc. Our goal is to match you with the best possible pet for you and your home. We want to create furever families.
