My Story

Date into Rescue: 11/2/2022

Reason for being in rescue: owner release

Special Needs: Lola is spayed, up to date on vaccines and heartworm negative.

What kind of home would be best for me: Lola is looking for a home that will take her on all the adventures. She is a people dog, and wants to go everywhere with them. Fences do not stop her from getting to her people either, no matter how high, so she does not require one in her new home. Lola would make the perfect family dog. She loves to play with her fur friends, dogs and cats alike. She wouldn’t mind having other animals to share her home with, but would also be perfectly happy having the spotlight just on her.

What is my personality like: Lola is a beautiful ball of sunshine! She is one of the happiest, sweetest dogs we have ever met. She was found bouncing from yard to yard in a neighborhood when a couple decided to attempt to “catch” her. It didn’t take long to gain Lola’s trust, and they took her into the vet to get checked out. Once they knew she was healthy, they contacted us here at the farm to help find her the perfect home.

You would never know this precious girl was ever a stray by how she acts. Lola has, almost, perfect manners, and will sit or lay down on command. She loves people with her whole heart, and will do anything to be in their company. Lola will stay cuddled up with you as long as you will let her, or just simply sit by your side while you work. She doesn’t really care what you are doing as long as it’s together. If you are searching for an adventure buddy, you’ve found her!

How do I act when I first meet new people: Lola never meets a stranger, and thinks meeting new people is the bees knees.

Tips and Tidbits: Lola was found as a stray, so we do not know her history. She is estimated to be about a year old. We celebrate her birthday as 01/21/2022.

House trained: Dogs can be house trained if they are in the right environment and are allowed to follow a schedule as long as a physical reason doesn't keep them from being trained.  A dog house trained in my home may not be in yours. We will help you teach your new dog this necessary skill and based on your schedule.

Potential Adopters

Please note - we do not ship or transport our dogs. If you are interested in adopting a dog, take a look at the distance between the dog's location and your location and make sure you are able to make the trip.

Thank you for your interest in a dog who needs a new home. This description contains all that we currently know about this dog. We have no perfect dogs - but many of our dogs have proven to be perfect for a certain someone. We urge all of our potential adopters not to fall in love with a picture. When screening applications, we look at the entire home and then make suggestions based on what would be a good fit for your home. You are not being screened for a specific dog although we are looking to see what type of dog interests you - poodles or non poodles, age, temperament, personality, etc. Our goal is to match you with the best possible pet for you and your home. We want to create furever families.
