Special Needs: Cole is neutered, up to date on vaccines and heartworm negative. On 11/22/22 Cole had a dental with extractions.
What kind of home would be best for me: Cole needs a calm, quiet, and patient home to spend his forever. He has spent his 10 years of life being a breeder dog with little to no interaction with humans. Another confident dog in the home to help teach Cole how to be a dog, and that humans are great, is an absolute must. Once he starts getting more comfortable in his new home and family, taking him to training classes and walks in a calm park for socialization would be a great next step. A fenced in yard is required for Cole, as he needs a safe place to roam and exercise.
What is my personality like: Cole is your stereotypical sweet little old man. He loves to pass the day by relaxing and enjoying the small things that life has to offer. He has started to come into his own here at the farm, and he is such a lover! He never knew what love was before arriving at the farm, but now that he has gotten a taste of it he can’t get enough. Cole is still a little shy, but warms up quickly once you start petting him. This sweet man is sure to melt your heart like butter.
How do I act when I first meet new people: Cole can be a little shy at first meeting, but will quickly warm up.
Tips and Tidbits: Cole is 10 years old. We celebrate his birthday as 11/15/2012.
House trained: Dogs can be house trained if they are in the right environment and are allowed to follow a schedule as long as a physical reason doesn't keep them from being trained. A dog house trained in my home may not be in yours. We will help you teach your new dog this necessary skill and based on your schedule.
Please note - we do not ship or transport our dogs. If you are interested in adopting a dog, take a look at the distance between the dog's location and your location and make sure you are able to make the trip.
Thank you for your interest in a dog who needs a new home. This description contains all that we currently know about this dog. We have no perfect dogs - but many of our dogs have proven to be perfect for a certain someone. We urge all of our potential adopters not to fall in love with a picture. When screening applications, we look at the entire home and then make suggestions based on what would be a good fit for your home. You are not being screened for a specific dog although we are looking to see what type of dog interests you - poodles or non poodles, age, temperament, personality, etc. Our goal is to match you with the best possible pet for you and your home. We want to create furever families.
