My Story

Date into Rescue: 11/18/23

Reason for being in rescue: Owner Surrender

Special Needs: Crystal is spayed, up to date on vaccines and heartworm negative.

What kind of home would be best for me: Crystal is seeking a home in which her new family can provide her with lots of patience, consistency, and time. Crystal excels in a routine environment but does enjoy experiencing new things and places. She can be timid at times but can be quickly reassured by the people she trusts the most. She would prosper with another dog in the home to help teach her things and help her find and gain the confidence that she currently lacks. She likes to find her own adventures and escapades to go on in her free time. She is extremely loyal to those that she trusts. Crystal has lived in an adult-only home. She could live with older teens easily.

What is my personality like: Sweet, curious and eager to please everyone. Crystal is tender hearted and shows that by gently nuzzling up next to you as you walk. Her big beautiful eyes just beg for you to adore her completely.

Crystal has learned to walk on a leash using a harness. She knows sit and stay and is eager to learn. She is crate-trained as well, and enjoys sleeping in her crate or on a comfy bed. Crystal is good with other dogs but oftentimes does not engage in play with them; she would rather sit back and supervise while others have their fun.

Crystal is a big softy all the way!

How do I act when I first meet new people: Friendly, Crystal enjoys being out on the town and meeting new friends all day lo

Tips and Tidbits: Crystal is estimated at 3 years old. We celebrate her birthday 07/06/2020.

House trained: Dogs can be house trained if they are in the right environment and are allowed to follow a schedule as long as a physical reason doesn't keep them from being trained.  A dog house trained in my home may not be in yours. We will help you teach your new dog this necessary skill and based on your schedule.

Potential Adopters

Please note - we do not ship or transport our dogs. If you are interested in adopting a dog, take a look at the distance between the dog's location and your location and make sure you are able to make the trip.

Thank you for your interest in a dog who needs a new home. This description contains all that we currently know about this dog. We have no perfect dogs - but many of our dogs have proven to be perfect for a certain someone. We urge all of our potential adopters not to fall in love with a picture. When screening applications, we look at the entire home and then make suggestions based on what would be a good fit for your home. You are not being screened for a specific dog although we are looking to see what type of dog interests you - poodles or non poodles, age, temperament, personality, etc. Our goal is to match you with the best possible pet for you and your home. We want to create furever families.
