Biography
Maggie made her way to us when she was found as a stray in June of 2024. We've been told the family who knows Maggie knows she is with us and chooses not to reach out. Why we do not know. Maggie is very senior and very sick in congestive heart failure.
Her first month in rescue meant quite a few trips to the vet. Maggie was in untreated congestive heart failure. Had she not found us when she did, we have no doubt her numbered days would already be over. But she did and our vets went to work doing what they do best. Working miracles. The very first visit, they drained 4 pounds of fluid off her abdomen. Throughout all of it, this sweetheart smiled and loved us. We gave her good food, we gave her medicine that made her feel better and, best of all, we gave her an inside home and soft pats and ear scratches. We were cool people in Maggie’s book.
Maggie is quiet and kind. She is sweet and loving. She is neat and clean. She is all things good. Love and affection. She is a great dog who should never have lost her way. We are here for her and committed to her for the rest of her life. Your sponsorship helps us give her that help.
Sponsorship
Can’t have a dog of your own? Have a soft spot for old, sick or hard to place dogs? It only takes a $20 a month donation for me to be your virtual dog! I need at least 10 virtual adopters (sponsors) to help cover my monthly costs. If I have medical challenges I need even more! r having to leave your home, you can have your very own online dog that will send you update emails, make Facebook posts, and be eternally grateful for your support! Go to the donate link at the top of the page for instructions as to how to donate. Questions? Email: cprsosdogs@carolinapoodlerescue.org
