My Story

Date into Rescue:11/12/24

Reason for being in rescue: Breeder release

Special Needs: Prince is up to date on vaccines for his age. Prince is a Bernedoodle. We will never guarantee that a doodle is hypoallergenic or that they won't shed. If you have allergy concerns, Prince is not your dog.

What kind of home would be best for me: Puppies are active, agile little babies, they need homes that are ready to tire them out both mentally and physically. What matters most to a puppy is a happy and excited owner ready to take on loving and training their new puppy! Prince is not your typical puppy. He is a nervous nelly who needs life experiences. He requires a home with another large, confident dog that he can learn from and behavior model after. If you have children, they must be over 12 and must have grown up with dogs. Prince has met children, and he finds them highly intimidating.

When raised around cats, with proper boundaries, puppies do very well. If you expect your puppy to get alone with your feline buddy, it’s important to start socializing the puppy with the cat as soon as you can!

What is my personality like: Say hello to Prince - a young, male doodle puppy who is looking for his furever! Prince is a very sweet and playful boy. He is a bit shy at first but if you wait patiently and offer treats and gentle affection, he will open right up. Prince hasn't had much life experience, and it shows. He needs socialization and life experiences. The right home will offer him this consistency and patience. Group training would be amazing for this boy.

Prince is very sweet and playful, and growing by the day! He is working on potty training skills and learning what it’s like to be a pet. Prince would benefit most from an active family who plans to socialize him more, take him for hikes and extra playtime, and include him in any way possible. He is young and easily trainable, but with his young age comes LOTS of energy and a crave for playtime.

Prince loves toys, attention and learning new things. He is working daily on more developmental skills, and potty training.

How do I act when I first meet new people: Prince is a bit shy at first but if you wait patiently and offer treats and gentle affection, he will open right up.

Tips and Tidbits: Prince was born 2/3/2024

House trained: Dogs can be house trained if they are in the right environment and are allowed to follow a schedule as long as a physical reason doesn't keep them from being trained.  A dog house trained in my home may not be in yours. We will help you teach your new dog this necessary skill and based on your schedule.

Potential Adopters

Please note - we do not ship or transport our dogs. If you are interested in adopting a dog, take a look at the distance between the dog's location and your location and make sure you are able to make the trip.

Thank you for your interest in a dog who needs a new home. This description contains all that we currently know about this dog. We have no perfect dogs - but many of our dogs have proven to be perfect for a certain someone. We urge all of our potential adopters not to fall in love with a picture. When screening applications, we look at the entire home and then make suggestions based on what would be a good fit for your home. You are not being screened for a specific dog although we are looking to see what type of dog interests you - poodles or non poodles, age, temperament, personality, etc. Our goal is to match you with the best possible pet for you and your home. We want to create furever families.
