My Story

Date into Rescue: 1/21/25

Reason for being in rescue: Breeder release, retiring from breeding

Special Needs: Lady Bug Autumn is spayed, up to date on vaccines and heartworm negative. Lady Bug Autumn is not hypoallergenic and does shed.

What kind of home would be best for me:

Active and playful, Autumn is looking for an equally active family or individual. She’d love to join you on walks, jogs, hikes, or trips to the beach. And after a fun adventure, she’s definitely up for a pup cup on the way home! A typical day with Autumn will involve plenty of outdoor play and exercise—she’s no couch potato!

Autumn would thrive in a home with an active single person, a couple, or a family who enjoys outdoor activities. She requires a home with another large dog. Autumn has never lived without canine companionship and needs another large, confident dog for play and learning. She has a demeanor well-suited for children over 5. Autumn does have a voice and is not afraid to use it - our girl likes to bark when she wants attention.

What is my personality like:

Meet Autumn, a beautiful red Irish Doodle looking for her forever home! Autumn is a sweet and loving girl who was released by a breeder, so many things are new to her. She can be a bit skittish and nervous at first, taking her time to process new situations. However, once she feels comfortable, you'll see her joyfully running around with a big smile on her face!

Autumn has never lived in a home, and her adopter will need to be patient with her as she learns the ropes of living in a home and being a pet. She walks on a leash, but not well. Autumn will need taught her basic commands, but she is a smart and confident girl once she’s sure of her surroundings. With praise and treats she should learn anything your care to teach her.

Autumn's new family will need to be patient as she learns the ropes of indoor living and being a pet. She walks on a leash, but she’s still working on it. She’ll need to learn basic commands, but don’t worry - Autumn is a smart and confident girl who just needs a little time and encouragement. With praise and treats, she’ll quickly pick up new skills and become the well-mannered pup you’ve been dreaming of.

Autumn is a bundle of joy - curious, playful, and always up for an adventure! While she’s cautious at first, once she’s comfortable, she’s ready to have fun and enjoy life to the fullest.

How do I act when I first meet new people:

When meeting new people, Autumn can be a little nervous and skittish, but she warms up quickly. Once she feels safe, she loves to be loved on and will happily return affection.

Tips and Tidbits: Lady Bug Autumn's birthday is 5/15/2021.

House trained: Dogs can be house trained if they are in the right environment and are allowed to follow a schedule if a physical reason doesn't keep them from being trained.  A dog house trained in my home may not be in yours. We will help you teach your new dog this necessary skill and based on your schedule.

Potential Adopters

Please note - we do not ship or transport our dogs. If you are interested in adopting a dog, take a look at the distance between the dog's location and your location and make sure you are able to make the trip.

Thank you for your interest in a dog who needs a new home. This description contains all that we currently know about this dog. We have no perfect dogs - but many of our dogs have proven to be perfect for a certain someone. We urge all of our potential adopters not to fall in love with a picture. When screening applications, we look at the entire home and then make suggestions based on what would be a good fit for your home. You are not being screened for a specific dog although we are looking to see what type of dog interests you - poodles or non poodles, age, temperament, personality, etc. Our goal is to match you with the best possible pet for you and your home. We want to create furever families.
