Reason for being in rescue: Breeder release

Special Needs: Letty is spayed, up to date on vaccines and heartworm negative.

What kind of home would be best for me: Letty would do well with either single adopters, or a family. She has never lived as a pet before but is eager to learn. It is required that Letty have at least one other confident canine sibling in the home to ensure she has a friend to keep her company and to play and grow with. In all honesty, Letty’s dream is to have a pack of dogs, but we understand this isn’t always ideal so one or more dogs will be just fine. 

What is my personality like: Letty is an observer. She likes to watch the world go by before she makes a move! She is all things fun and curiosity, but she has to trust and understand you first. Once Letty trusts you, you have unlocked a world of love and loyal companionship. Her big, green, soulful eyes have so much to offer, and they are impossible to resist!

Letty is a very intelligent girl but will need continued socialization and guidance as time goes on. Letty loves other dogs and their company, as she is from a breeder release and a pack of dogs is all she’s ever known.  Since Letty does lack some socialization, she would greatly benefit from trips out in public, car rides, leash walks around the neighborhood, etc. Her caregivers would describe her as sophisticated, collected and curious. In other words, Letty knows what she wants, and it is our job to make sure it happens. Watching her play and open up to humans is a joy and it doesn’t take very long for her to open up when there are doggy friends around.

Tips and Tidbits: Letty was born 07/09/2023

House trained: Dogs can be house trained if they are in the right environment and are allowed to follow a schedule as long as a physical reason doesn't keep them from being trained.  A dog house trained in my home may not be in yours. We will help you teach your new dog this necessary skill and based on your schedule.

Please note - we do not ship or transport our dogs. If you are interested in adopting a dog, take a look at the distance between the dog's location and your location and make sure you are able to make the trip.

Thank you for your interest in a dog who needs a new home. This description contains all that we currently know about this dog. We have no perfect dogs - but many of our dogs have proven to be perfect for a certain someone. We urge all of our potential adopters not to fall in love with a picture. When screening applications, we look at the entire home and then make suggestions based on what would be a good fit for your home. You are not being screened for a specific dog although we are looking to see what type of dog interests you - poodles or non poodles, age, temperament, personality, etc. Our goal is to match you with the best possible pet for you and your home. We want to create furever families.
