Kora was turned in to the Columbia shelter after their owner could no longer care for her.

Kora is very afraid of new people, noises and unfamiliar scenery, she has not been exposed to many new things in her life.  She is a sweet girl who is highly affectionate and loves to give kisses once she warms up to someone.

Kora is great on a leash, and enjoys a nice slow paced walk around the neighborhood. She does spook easily if startled by a loud vehicle, person or pet. She is slowly getting used to things and will one day be a social butterfly. Kora is a girl that likes her routine. She is not good with other dogs. She prefers to be the queen of her home. She loves a good chew bone and loves giving sloppy kisses once she is comfortable with you.

Can’t have a dog of your own? Have a soft spot for old, sick or hard to place dogs? It only takes a $20 a month donation for me to be your virtual dog! I need at least 10 virtual adopters (sponsors) to help cover my monthly costs.  If I have medical challenges I need even more! r having to leave your home, you can have your very own online dog that will send you update emails, make Facebook posts, and be eternally grateful for your support!  Go to the donate link at the top of the page for instructions as to how to donate.
