My original owner was diagnosed with cancer. Overwhelmed with his health problems, he could no longer care for me.

I do miss him daily.

I’m familiar with being placed. The first time was in 2012, but I was not a good boy. I regrettably used my teeth on the new owner. Carolina Poodle Rescue took me back, and I went to live with the director. It was soon found out I like being with dudes.

I’m looking for a single guy, a professional who either works from home or comes and goes frequently. I’m not good with kids, especially girls who squeal over me and try to pick me up. If that doesn’t happen, I’m pretty good. I like quiet, a routine and an occasional fetch session. I have no problem sitting at my owner’s feet with the occasional head pat and squeaky toy now and then.

I also am a bit of a handful. I just found out I have diabetes, and the CPR staff has been more than patient with me as they take blood weekly and provide insulin shots. I think they’ll tell you I’m getting better. Hey, I’ll take any attention I can get. I do like my head scratched.

The term troll has been used to describe me. Hey, I like what I see, and I don’t mind taking it back to my kennel and standing guard over it. I’m a devious booger that way.

I’m not a snuggler in the bed, but I can promise I’ll have the first smile you’ll see in the morning, when you get home and when you decide to turn in.

I’ll be your quiet little companion.

Can’t have a dog of your own? Have a soft spot for old, sick or hard to place dogs? It only takes a $20 a month donation for me to be your virtual dog! I need at least 10 virtual adopters (sponsors) to help cover my monthly costs.  If I have medical challenges I need even more! r having to leave your home, you can have your very own online dog that will send you update emails, make Facebook posts, and be eternally grateful for your support!  Go to the donate link at the top of the page for instructions as to how to donate.
