At Carolina Poodle Rescue, we believe that all lives matter. We are a team of passionate staff and volunteers, committed to rescuing and rehabilitating dogs in need. One by one until there are none!
Carolina Poodle Rescue is a no-kill / limited entry private rescue group. We believe and support the Save Them All and spay / neuter initiatives. Carolina Poodle Rescue refers to our nonprofit rescue organization and Dreamweaver Farm is the physical location where the dogs reside. Both names are used interchangeably at times. We are a registered 501(c)3 non-profit.
All animals adopted from Carolina Poodle are spayed or neutered before being placed. We provide sanctuary and rehabilitation and, when the right home comes along, rehome poodles, poodle mixes and other needy small dogs. We maintain a waiting list of homes and most of our animals are placed from this list.
We generally house over 200 animals or more at any given time. These dedicated people are supported by hundreds of volunteers in many states including both the Carolinas, Virginia, New York, Texas, Georgia and many more. In June 2024, we reached the milestone of helping 10,000 dogs find fur-ever homes.
Our efforts are funded solely through adoption fees and donations.
I have taken 3 dogs home from Carolina Poodle Rescue, and all 3 were above the age of 6. It seems there is no limit to the extent they will go to care for the new intake puppies and/or seniors. This is Paige. She has a spinal injury, but with acupuncture, chiropractic, and laser therapy, she continues to thrive at 9 years old.
Carolina Poodle Rescue is an incredible organization! We adopted our second pup, Cleopatra Solange, back in November. She belonged to a litter that was born to a standard poodle that CPR rescued last summer.
CPR has a very thorough application and vetting process. This is for a good reason. Too often, potential adopters may have the best of intentions but are not fully capable of caring for animals — particularly animals that have experienced trauma or neglect.
I respect the hard, tireless, and sometimes thankless work that CPRvolunteers put into rescuing and caring for these beautiful animals.
I was so impressed by the whole application process. Everything was very professional and the response time was unbelievable. I sent initial application on Wednesday followed by the more indepth questionnaire on Friday. My friends also completed their questionnaire on Friday and I was notified Monday that I was approved. I went to CPR on Thursday and came home with my Sophie. She is the perfect fit for me and we’re both very happy!
OMG, I got my Pepper from CPR… what Donna & team does to give the pups another chance is amazing….
