Basil arrived at the farm along with siblings due to no fault of his own. Meet Link Basil! Or Basil for short! This fuzzy, funny boy is known for his comical demeanor and a knack for making everyone laugh. He's the life of the sanctuary — when he wants to be! Despite his silly side, this boy is all about balance, he's a chill guy who values his privacy and personal space. Whether he's lounging in his favorite, quiet corner or entertaining the staff with his "noisy" commentary, he knows for sure how to keep things interesting (and noisy). He's the perfect mix of independence and charm.

With that being said, there is not a whole lot you can get basil to do ... Basil has a stubborn streak that is a mile wide — don't expect him to move unless its on his terms! Basil loves food, comfy beds and back scratches! Although Basil's antics may test your patience from time to time, they will also keep you laughing. Deep down, he's a lovable little rascal who has a unique character that simply makes him unforgettable. He is a happy-go-lucky dog if you're willing to appreciate his strong-willed ways!

Here at the Sanctuary, he thrives in an environment where he can live at his own pace and call all the shots while still having a safe and supportive place to just be himself!
