Why am I with a rescue group? Barnabas has had a rough start in life. He came from a hoarding case and his terrified nature shows that this world has not been very kind to him. This boy is a true project. Barnabas has began to improve on a leash but is still very timid on a leash. Barnabas has a lot he is going to have to learn. Even simple things, like allowing someone to show him attention. He desperately needs someone that is willing to understand him and have endless patience.
Barnabas will be the most obedient and loyal boy when given a chance to warm up. One of his former caregivers comes to see him weekly and he is always so excited to see her. Because of this we know he can bond to someone and will bond hard. You just have to invest in this boy and he will be the best boy ever. Barnabas is very bonded to his canine friends (Charlie and Mattie) at Dreamweaver Farms and looks to them for guidance and comfort. He is great with cats! Barnabas is very timid and needs time to adjust to new people and new environments.
Can’t have a dog of your own? Have a soft spot for old, sick or hard to place dogs? It only takes a $20 a month donation for me to be your virtual dog! I need at least 10 virtual adopters (sponsors) to help cover my monthly costs. If I have medical challenges I need even more! r having to leave your home, you can have your very own online dog that will send you update emails, make Facebook posts, and be eternally grateful for your support! Go to the donate link at the top of the page for instructions as to how to donate. Questions? Email: firstname.lastname@example.org
