About Me

Biography

Dina arrived as a rescue in August of 2020 with her pack and have been here since then. She was part of a feral colony living too close to roads, with neighbors threatening harm to the dogs if they weren't contained. Dina does well as part of a pack. She is extremely cautious with people and is learning to trust our caregivers. A few of her pack will approach when offered treats and take them from their hands. We are hopeful Dina will learn from them.

Dina has always caught our eye as one of the prettiest in the Feral Colony, and honestly, we think she knows it. Dina has shown an inquisitive nature with the way she silently watches. We would have to say she is one of the most intelligent in her pack. Preferring to sit back and simply watch the world move by Dina collects information by observing and learning. She is quiet and never has much to say compared to some of her packmates, instead choosing to watch your every move. She has learned patterns and always responds the same way. When you come in first thing in the morning, she is ready to go outside but still patiently waits for you to open her kennel. She knows the second trip around is feeding time and you can find her waiting just under the edge of the tree in their yard. Anytime a new situation sparks she will watched with a tilted head.

Though sometimes nervous Dina has always controlled her fear with a sort of balanced anxiety. You can see the confusion in her eyes, but she is always able to maintain face and has always show to be resilient. We will continue to work with Dina with the hope that she may one day find a forever home. As of now she needs our, and your, support to start down that path.

Sponsorship

Can’t have a dog of your own? Have a soft spot for old, sick or hard-to-place dogs? It only takes a $20 a month donation for me to be your virtual dog!  I need at least 10 virtual adopters (sponsors) to help cover my monthly costs.  If I have medical challenges I need even more!  The caregivers at Carolina Poodle Rescue will do the rest.  Just think, without ever having to leave your home, you can have your very own online dog that will send you update emails, make Facebook posts, and be eternally grateful for your support!  Go to the donate link at the top of the page for instructions as to how to donate. Questions? Email: cprsosdogs@carolinapoodlerescue.org

I LOVE MY Virtual Adopters! DINA IS LOOKING FOR HER VIRTUAL FAMILY!
