Biography
Angie is one of a group of feral dogs that came to the farm to try to learn to like humans. She was pregnant when she arrived and gave birth to one baby boy who was properly socialized and has gone on to become a great pet. Angie has corneal bluing in both eyes - we do not know why, and it appears to be genetic. She depends heavily on Bear to show her the way in the world. We do not believe has much vision but with Bear by her side as her seeing eye dog, she is doing well.
Angie has been with CPR since 8/31/20. The vacant lot she and several other dogs called "home" was being attacked by neighbors who did not like the feral dogs sharing their space. They were using the dogs for target practice. We found out and stepped in. We were the only hope they had. We continue to work towards the day when these feral dogs may accept humans but if not, we're really glad they have the safety and sanctuary of the poodle farm to call home.
Sponsorship
Can’t have a dog of your own? Have a soft spot for old, sick or hard to place dogs? It only takes a $20 a month donation for me to be your virtual dog! I need at least 10 virtual adopters (sponsors) to help cover my monthly costs. If I have medical challenges I need even more! The caregivers at Carolina Poodle Rescue will do the rest. Just think, without ever having to leave your home, you can have your very own online dog that will send you update emails, make Facebook posts, and be eternally grateful for your support! Go to the donate link at the top of the page for instructions as to how to donate. Questions? Email: cprsosdogs@carolinapoodlerescue.org
I LOVE MY Virtual Adopters! Lynn M and the staff at Critter Care. I'd love a few more people to call my virtual family.
