About Me
Biography
Meemie arrived as a rescue in August of 2020 with her pack and has been here since then. She was part of a feral colony living too close to roads, with neighbors threatening harm to the dogs if they weren't contained. Meemie does well as part of her pack here. She is extremely cautious with people and is learning to trust our caregivers. We will continue to work with Meemie with the hope that she may one day find a forever home. As of now she needs our, and your, support to start down that path.
Here's more info on me and why I will most likely live here at Dreamweaver Farms forever. I came from a feral pack situation, so I did not get the socialization that other dogs usually get with people. I am nervous around people, and very wary of them. I don’t think I will ever trust people enough to be adopted. I don’t know, maybe one day, but not right now.
I’ve been at CPR for four of my six years now, I was born in September 2018, at least that's everyone's best guess. Because I am so afraid of people I will most likely be here for the rest of my life. Here at CPR, I am still living with my pack and that makes me very comfortable.
Finding a forever home is the longest of long shots for me. I’m not complaining. CPR is a fine place to live. I hang with my pack each and every day. I get good food, treats, water, heat and blankets in the winter and A/C during the hot and humid summer. Should I ever need medical care they provide that as well.
But all of the good things they provide me aren’t free. That’s why I need at least 10 virtual adopters to help cover my monthly costs here. I love to snuggle up in blankets when I’m in my crate here and sometimes I play with the toys in the yard. I’m not a picky eater, but I do love canned dog food! If you sponsor me it will cover the costs of everything I love!
Sponsorship
Can’t have a dog of your own? Have a soft spot for old, sick or hard-to-place dogs? It only takes a $20 a month donation for me to be your virtual dog! I need at least 10 virtual adopters (sponsors) to help cover my monthly costs. If I have medical challenges I need even more! The caregivers at Carolina Poodle Rescue will do the rest. Just think, without ever having to leave your home, you can have your very own online dog that will send you update emails, make Facebook posts, and be eternally grateful for your support! Go to the donate link at the top of the page for instructions as to how to donate. Questions? Email: cprsosdogs@carolinapoodlerescue.org
I LOVE MY Virtual Adopters! MEEMIE IS LOOKING FOR HER VIRTUAL FAMILY!
