Found as a stray, this lovable girl had to have been someone’s pet at one point in her life. She is both beauty and brains, she is very food motivated and knows to sit to get what she wants. She gets super excited to go for walks (she knows what the word and leash means). She also gets super excited when she thinks she is about to go for a car ride. She does pull on a leash just because she is so excited! She will only potty on grass!

Ingrid has the cutest bunny hopping zoomies. She is loving, sweet, and goofy all mixed into one. She can nosey, curious, cuddly, and a dash mischevious. She has soulful eyes that show you all her emotions, and can lead nose to the ground to find her next snack, I swear she was a hound in another life!!

Ingrid is a great dog most of the time. However, her past has clearly left some scars. Ingrid can be aggressive toward other dogs and unpredictable with humans once she is comfortable. She has been adopted twice and returned for the same behavior - getting comfortable in her home and believing she is alpha, resulting in negative behaviors.

Ingrid is not available for adoption at this time. As wonderful as she can be, she simply is not ready for home life. We hope with time and consistency and patience and positive reinforcement we can redirect some of her behavioral challenges.

Can’t have a dog of your own? Have a soft spot for old, sick or hard to place dogs? It only takes a $20 a month donation for me to be your virtual dog! I need at least 10 virtual adopters (sponsors) to help cover my monthly costs.  If I have medical challenges I need even more! r having to leave your home, you can have your very own online dog that will send you update emails, make Facebook posts, and be eternally grateful for your support!  Go to the donate link at the top of the page for instructions as to how to donate.
