Biography

Fred was found as a stray and landed at a SC shelter. Carolina Poodle Rescue pulled him from the shelter. Fred has the cutest underbite that will bring a smile to your face. He is a very discerning guy and will never accept every person he meets. With those he loves, he wants nothing more than to be with them. He will follow you wherever you go and loves going on adventures.

Fred's favorite hobby though is snuggling. He would spend his entire day snuggling with his favorite person if you let him. If you're a favorite of Fred's you are golden. If you are not - well Fred is not tolerant. He can come at you with teeth barred if he's not comfortable with you. It's not a pretty sight.

We believe his unpredictable reactions when it comes to people is why Fred may be destined to live out his days here. However, we will never give up looking for a forever home for Fred with an adopter who can take the time to work with him focusing on his training and building his confidence. While he continues to wait for that person, Fred's virtual donors allow us to give him a caring place to live with a warm bed, nutritious food, and loving caregivers, as we continue that search.

Sponsorship

Can’t have a dog of your own? Have a soft spot for old, sick or hard to place dogs? It only takes a $20 a month donation for me to be your virtual dog!  I need at least 10 virtual adopters (sponsors) to help cover my monthly costs.  If I have medical challenges I need even more!  The caregivers at Carolina Poodle Rescue will do the rest.  Just think, without ever having to leave your home, you can have your very own online dog that will send you update emails, make Facebook posts, and be eternally grateful for your support!  Go to the donate link at the top of the page for instructions as to how to donate.
