Biography

Veronica is all that shepherd lovers know and appreciate. Smart. Regal. Loyal. Consistent. She was surrendered by her breeder to rescue in early 2024 with hopes that she'd find her happily ever after.

Veronica has learned love and care from the staff here at CPR and that is all she is looking for. She loves to follow you wherever you go. She wants to be involved and loves to make sure you don't need any help with your tasks. Veronica is a gentle girl that love attention. She

is learning leash manners and has learned how to sit, and the word come, but she will need to be taught other basic queues like stay and down.

Veronica does well with a routine.

Veronica is part of our sanctuary program because of her ongoing medical needs. She has daily eye drops for dry eye. She has a perianal hernia and receives regular laser treatment to help manage this condition. We have done Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) therapy on her. Veronica is on sensitive stomach non-hydrolyzed protein food from Science Diet.

Veronica is looking for a home with someone familiar with her breed. Veronica would do well in a home with a playful canine buddy to run around and play with, or as an only dog. Another German Shepherd would be ideal for her, or a poodle as she has learned to love them here with us on the poodle farm. Veronica will fit right into your life whether you are single, a couple, or a family. She would be a great family dog and she would love children.
