My Story

Date into Rescue: 09/08/2025

Reason for being in rescue: Breeder surrender

Special Needs: Frosty is neutered, up to date on vaccines and heartworm negative. On 09/16/25 he had a dental polishing. Our veterinarian has recommended annual dentals for Frosty.

What kind of home would be best for me: Frosty has never known life as a companion. He is accustomed to dogs (lots of them) and routine. You will teach him what being a pet means. The good news - Frosty is a happy dog that is eager to learn. His forever home is with a family that can offer him consistency and routine. A family that understands he has never lived in a home and is not house trained but is trying. A family that either has another dog or has a plan for regular socialization 3-4 times per week is non-negotiable. Frosty has never known life without canine companions. A family with an abundance of patience to go the distance with this special boy. Ideally, a family that has rescued before.

What is my personality like: Meet Frosty, a loving little white toy poodle whose name couldn’t be more misleading—because unlike his chilly name, Frosty is nothing but warmth, sweetness, and joy. With his wagging tail and happy spirit, he’s always ready to greet you and soak up affection. He loves human attention, often hopping up for pets and cuddles, and his playful side shines through the moment he feels at home.

Frosty has always lived with other dogs and thrives in their company, but he is also social and confident enough to do well as an only dog. Whether he has a canine companion or is soaking up all the love himself, Frosty’s affectionate nature makes him a wonderful fit for many different home environments.

As a breeder release, Frosty is still learning what it means to be a family pet. House manners, daily routines, and leash walking are all new to him, but his eagerness to please and willingness to learn will make the journey smoother with a patient and understanding family by his side.

Frosty loves to play, loves to love, and is more than ready to begin this exciting new chapter. With his open heart and joyful spirit, Frosty will quickly become the devoted and playful companion every family dreams of.

How do I act when I first meet new people: Frosty walks into a room with a wagging tail and happy heart to make new friends!

Tips and Tidbits: Frosty's birthday is 11/23/2021

House trained: Dogs can be house trained if they are in the right environment and are allowed to /follow a schedule as long as a physical reason doesn't keep them from being trained.  A dog house trained in my home may not be in yours. We will help you teach your new dog this necessary skill and based on your schedule.

Potential Adopters

Please note - we do not ship or transport our dogs. If you are interested in adopting a dog, take a look at the distance between the dog's location and your location and make sure you are able to make the trip.

Thank you for your interest in a dog who needs a new home. This description contains all that we currently know about this dog. We have no perfect dogs - but many of our dogs have proven to be perfect for a certain someone. We urge all of our potential adopters not to fall in love with a picture. When screening applications, we look at the entire home and then make suggestions based on what would be a good fit for your home. You are not being screened for a specific dog although we are looking to see what type of dog interests you - poodles or non poodles, age, temperament, personality, etc. Our goal is to match you with the best possible pet for you and your home. We want to create furever families.
