My Story
Reason for being in rescue: Lovingly surrendered by owners
Special Needs: Ginger is spayed, up to date on vaccines and heartworm negative. On 10/10/25 Ginger had a dental polishing and deep ear cleaning.
What kind of home would be best for me: Ginger is an easy, wonderful girl who would fit into most home environments. She is good with other dogs, good with cats, and good with kids according to her previous owners. What she wants is a family to call her own and give her heart to.
What is my personality like: Ginger is a sweet and confident Standard Poodle who’s ready to be your new walking pal and loyal companion. She loves nothing more than spending time with her person—following you from room to room or joyfully bounding across a field the moment you call her name. Ginger has that perfect balance of playful energy and gentle affection, making her an easy dog to fall in love with.
Confident and curious, Ginger handles new places and experiences with her head held high. She’s a natural leader and would do wonderfully as an only dog or with another large, playful pup who can match her spirit.
We think Ginger would be wonderful with kids, thanks to her kind and engaging nature. While we aren’t sure of the extent of her previous training, she’s a smart girl who’s eager to learn—refresher courses and consistent guidance will help her shine even more. Like any rescue, Ginger will need a little time and patience as she acclimates to her new home, but once she settles in, she’ll be your devoted, tail-wagging companion for life.
If you’re looking for a walking buddy and best friend rolled into one beautiful poodle, Ginger might just be the perfect match.
How do I act when I first meet new people: Ginger greets everyone she meets with enthusiasm and warmth, always ready to make a new friend.
Tips and Tidbits: (put birthdate here)
House trained: Dogs can be house trained if they are in the right environment and are allowed to follow a schedule as long as a physical reason doesn't keep them from being trained. A dog house trained in my home may not be in yours. We will help you teach your new dog this necessary skill and based on your schedule.
Potential Adopters
Please note - we do not ship or transport our dogs. If you are interested in adopting a dog, take a look at the distance between the dog's location and your location and make sure you are able to make the trip.
Thank you for your interest in a dog who needs a new home. This description contains all that we currently know about this dog. We have no perfect dogs - but many of our dogs have proven to be perfect for a certain someone. We urge all of our potential adopters not to fall in love with a picture. When screening applications, we look at the entire home and then make suggestions based on what would be a good fit for your home. You are not being screened for a specific dog although we are looking to see what type of dog interests you - poodles or non poodles, age, temperament, personality, etc. Our goal is to match you with the best possible pet for you and your home. We want to create furever families.
