Here's Your Quick Peek

At just six months old, Joseph has already had three homes — and honestly, that’s two too many for one tiny heart. This sweet little poodle is looking for more than an adopter; he’s looking for his person — the one human he can finally trust to stay.

Joseph is gentle, affectionate, quiet, and happiest curled up beside the person he loves most. He absolutely must sleep with his person because that closeness and security matter deeply to him right now. He’s a little uncertain at first, but underneath that cautious start is a devoted velcro dog who wants nothing more than to follow you through life and finally feel safe.

Must have: Calm, stable home committed for life

Exercise: Moderate daily walks and companionship

Best with: Calm adults, experienced dog owners, someone home often

Not ideal for: Busy homes, young children, frequent schedule changes

Energy level: Medium

Joseph is still learning that the world can be dependable, and he needs someone patient enough to help him believe that again. He’s incredibly sweet, wonderfully snuggly, and ready to trade uncertainty for a lifetime of love.

Good with dogs:  Yes of all sizes, larger and smaller than he is - unless they spook him (and that is easy).  His buddies need to be playful but gentle.

Good with kids:  Unknown - he has never been around a child that I am aware of, older and respectful children would be fine but it would depend on the meet and greet

Cats: Unknown - he can be tested

Fun fact: Joseph is currently sporting an accidental “lion clip” after a grooming mix-up involving another dog’s upcoming surgery prep. Thankfully, he’s adorable enough to completely pull it off — and besides, hair grows back!
