Laney is a shy, gentle Miniature Poodle who came from a hoarding case and is slowly learning that the world can be safe and kind. She’s quiet, sensitive, and sweet — a little dog who needs time to warm up but becomes very devoted once she trusts you.
Must have: A calm, patient home with gentle routines.
Exercise: Low — she prefers quiet walks and peaceful time outdoors.
Best with: Adults or an experienced adopter who understands shy dogs.
Not ideal for: Homes with children or loud, busy environments.
Energy level: Low — soft, quiet companionship.
Laney is working on house training and crate training. She is good with all dogs and enjoys their company. She would benefit from having another dog in the home, but it is not required as long as she still gets regular interaction with other dogs. A confident dog helps her feel secure and encourages her to come out of her shell.
Good with dogs: Yes — all dogs.
Good with kids: No.
Cats: Unknown.
Fun fact: Laney loves following other dogs — they help her feel brave and show her how to enjoy life.
