His previous owners surrendered him to a shelter saying he “needs too much,” but here at the rescue, we’ve gotten to know a wonderful boy who loves people and is eager to please. Must have: A loving family ready to include him in everyday life.

Exercise: Daily walks, playtime, and outings with his people. He’s an enthusiastic walking buddy who could use some practice with loose-leash manners.

Best with: An active household that enjoys a close, affectionate companion. Bentley brings a lovely mix of playful energy, goofy charm, and willingness to learn.

Not ideal for: Apartment living or long hours alone, as Bentley has shown some separation anxiety and barking. Older dogs who prefer quiet companionship may find his enthusiasm for play a bit much.

Energy level: Medium—happy to get out and enjoy the day, then spend some quality time snuggling.

Bentley’s caregivers describe him as a sweet, respectful boy who “just loves love.” He is crate trained and does well with grooming and handling.

Good with kids: Yes! He loves children but could benefit from continued practice with polite greetings, since he can jump when excited.
