Kernel is a sweet young Toy Poodle with a loving personality and a big heart packed into a tiny body. He adores people, enjoys being involved in whatever his family is doing, and is happiest when he can spend time close to those he loves. If you're looking for an affectionate companion who enjoys both activity and cuddle time, Kernel may be your perfect match. Must have:  A home committed to regular grooming, routine veterinary care, and providing the companionship this people-loving boy enjoys. 

Exercise:  Moderate daily exercise through walks, playtime, exploration, and family activities. Kernel enjoys being active but is not overly demanding.

Best with:  Families, singles, couples, children, and homes with other dogs. He enjoys people and social interaction and adapts well to different household types.

Not ideal for:  Homes unable to maintain regular grooming or homes seeking a highly independent dog. Kernel enjoys companionship and likes being with his people. 

Energy level:  Moderate. He enjoys walks, play, and spending time with his family, balanced with plenty of snuggles and relaxation.

Kernel arrived in rescue severely matted and underweight, but he has responded beautifully to care and is now ready to begin the next chapter of his life. He is heartworm negative, recently neutered, and current on core vaccinations.

Good with dogs:  Yes. He does well with both large and small dogs. 

Good with kids:  Untested but as friendly as he is, we think kids who are kind would be something he would like to get to know.  

Cats:  Yes. 

Fun fact:  Kernel's favorite things are people, snuggling, and following his favorite person wherever they go!
