Please Note: Carolina Poodle Rescue requires a meet and greet where everyone living in the home - all people and all dogs - will come to our farm to meet dogs. This is non-negotiable. Please do not apply if you and your family can't make this commitment.
Bambi came to CPR as a stray from Guilford County in rough condition. She arrived as a matted mess, desperately needing grooming and care. Since then, she has transformed into a beautiful, sweet, and loving Standard Poodle who is ready to find a family of her own.
Bambi is affectionate, playful, and intelligent. She enjoys spending time with her people, following them around, and quietly observing whatever is going on. She loves giving hugs and is known for being easy to get along with. While she takes a little time to warm up to new people, once she feels comfortable, her loving personality shines through.
She gets along well with other dogs, is clean in her kennel, and has made major improvements with leash walking. Bambi is also wellbehaved for grooming and handling.
Must have: Calm patient adopters, potentially another dog
Exercise: moderate — enjoys outdoor play and time with her people
Best with: adults or families with older children, calm households
Not ideal for: adopters expecting instant confidence
Energy level: medium — playful without being overwhelming
Bambi is a sweet girl who has come a long way since arriving in rescue. She’s affectionate, intelligent, and ready for a family that will appreciate both her playful side and her gentle heart.
Please not Bambi is noted to have chipped teeth and my need dentals later in life.
Good with dogs: yes
Good with kids: unknown
Cats: unknown
Fun fact:
Bambi loves giving hugs and following her people around to see what they're doing. She likes being involved in everything and makes a wonderful little shadow.
