My Story

Date into Rescue: 09/08/2025

Reason for being in rescue: Breeder surrender

Special Needs: Baby Doll is spayed, up to date on vaccines and heartworm negative. On 09/10/25 she had a major dental with 16 extractions. Baby Doll will need regular dental care.

What kind of home would be best for me: Baby Doll has never known life as a companion. She is accustomed to dogs (lots of them) and routine. You will teach her what being a pet means. The good news - Baby Doll is a gentle girl with a resilient spirit. Her forever home is with a family that can offer her consistency and routine. A family that understands she has never lived in a home and is not house trained but is trying. A family that either has another dog or has a plan for socialization 4-5 times EVERY WEEK with other dogs. Baby Doll has never known life without canine companions. A family with an abundance of patience to go the distance with this special girl. Ideally, a family that has rescued before.

What is my personality like: Just like her name suggests, Baby Doll is as sweet and precious as can be. This little toy poodle carries a soft, gentle spirit that makes you want to hold her close and never let go. True to her tender nature, she will take her time to get comfortable, slowly approaching with quiet confidence and gently asking to be picked up once she feels safe in your presence.

Baby Doll is good with other dogs, but unlike many of her companions, we believe she could also thrive as an only dog. Having been surrounded by dogs her entire life, she might enjoy a smaller, calmer friend group where she can soak up more one-on-one attention. While she appreciates her own space, she has a deep love for her younger doggy friends—so much so that she is seen as their natural leader. The other pups look up to her, following her as if she were their mom. Baby Doll’s nurturing, caring spirit truly shines through in these moments.

As a breeder release, Baby Doll is just beginning her journey of learning what it means to be a cherished pet. House manners, leash training, and the simple joy of human love will all be new experiences for her. With patience, kindness, and guidance, she will blossom into the wonderful companion she is meant to be—one whose sweetness lives up to her very name.

How do I act when I first meet new people: Baby Doll is calm. She walks into a room in a calm manner, greets you in a calm manner, and will appreciate sitting calmly with you while you get to know each other.

Tips and Tidbits: Baby Doll's birthday is 08/09/2017

House trained: Dogs can be house trained if they are in the right environment and are allowed to /follow a schedule as long as a physical reason doesn't keep them from being trained.  A dog house trained in my home may not be in yours. We will help you teach your new dog this necessary skill and based on your schedule.

Potential Adopters

Please note - we do not ship or transport our dogs. If you are interested in adopting a dog, take a look at the distance between the dog's location and your location and make sure you are able to make the trip.

Thank you for your interest in a dog who needs a new home. This description contains all that we currently know about this dog. We have no perfect dogs - but many of our dogs have proven to be perfect for a certain someone. We urge all of our potential adopters not to fall in love with a picture. When screening applications, we look at the entire home and then make suggestions based on what would be a good fit for your home. You are not being screened for a specific dog although we are looking to see what type of dog interests you - poodles or non poodles, age, temperament, personality, etc. Our goal is to match you with the best possible pet for you and your home. We want to create furever families.
