After years of raising puppies, Millie is finally ready to be someone’s baby. This affectionate little poodle is learning how wonderful life can be as a cherished family dog, but she needs a confident canine companion to help show her the way.

Must have: A friendly, confident resident dog, ideally a female close to her size
Exercise: Daily walks, playtime and opportunities to explore with her canine companion
Best with: A patient, understanding family and a calm, confident dog who can help her continue building confidence
Not ideal for: A home where she would be the only dog
Energy level: Moderate
Millie is sweet, affectionate and eager to be close to her people. New sounds and unfamiliar experiences can still surprise her, but with patience, positive experiences and the reassurance of another dog, her confidence continues to grow.
Good with dogs: Yes. She depends heavily on other dogs for guidance and confidence.
Good with kids: Not yet evaluated
Cats: Millie's foster home has two cats. Millie is very nonchalant about these new creatures in her life. She is a life and let live kind of girl when it comes to cats.
Fun fact: Millie travels between her foster home and the Poodle Farm and is great in the car!
